You type it all in, every time
Free generators forget you the moment you close the tab. Your company details, VAT number, logo and banking details go in again on every document. Nota is set up once, and every invoice after that starts filled in.

They were not built for SARS
A South African tax invoice has fields that are legally required, and the free tools are built for the US or the UK. Nota knows the difference between a tax invoice and an abridged one, and it will not let you issue a document that is missing something.

They cannot help you get paid
Making the document was never the hard part. Being owed R14 000 by somebody who has not opened the email is the hard part. Nota puts a payment link on the invoice and tells you who still owes you.

Changing plan or cancelling takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for — and whatever you have already made stays yours either way. An issued invoice is a tax record, not something we hold onto.
